Hello, welcome to my architecture portfolio! I am Merve Assiye Coban, a 27 year old girl who lives in the Netherlands. ​Art and buildings in general have always been a huge part of my life, whereof I mostly get inspired by nature.


I am currently studying at the Academy of Architecture and Urban Design in Rotterdam, as a master architecture student. Because I would like to expand my talent and opportunities. Especially when it comes to sustainability and green architecture, I strongly believe that I can express my passion and creative mind in this field the best.


Instead of destroying an area and designing something completely new, without bringing back any green that we’ve ruined, I would like to create a connection between people and its surroundings instead, expressed by a building. Getting immersed in it without losing whatever our planet has to offer. Thinking about the actual consequences we cause regarding our environment, we drastically need to make a change, right now.
